Full bio

Keisha Gaddis is a Licensed Professional Counselor, speaker, veteran educator, and bestselling author of Done With Fine. She supports the people behind the care: educators, healthcare professionals, mental health providers, social service teams, and caregivers who spend their days showing up for others.

With more than 20 years in education, including 15+ as a school counselor, Keisha has spent years sitting across from the children who notice. Listening to what children wish adults understood shaped a conviction that guides her work: supporting children also means supporting the adults raising, teaching, and caring for them.

Through keynotes, workshops, and her writing, Keisha explores the hidden cost of chronic overload and the pressure to look fine while running on empty. She combines mental health expertise, honest storytelling, and realistic strategies to help audiences recognize what they are carrying, name what they need, and respond with greater intention. Her signature DONE Method, Decide, Observe, Name, Exhale, gives people a brief, repeatable practice they can use in everyday life.

A former classroom teacher and experienced school counselor, Keisha brings a firsthand understanding of the demands facing people in caring professions. She has spoken for Mental Health America, the Texas Counseling Association, Girls Empowerment Network, and Sacred Heart University. Her message connects personal well-being with how people lead, work, build relationships, and care for the next generation.

Keisha has been featured on The Harry Connick Jr. Show, WFAA, and CBS 11, and was named to the Dallas Business Journal’s 40 Under 40. She lives in Frisco, Texas, with her family.

Her message is simple: We deserve better than fine.
